Another week!

Mummy has been rubbish again! We have been very busy again!! At the weekend we went to Brighton on saturday Mummy, Grandma, Nanny Dafodil & Matilda and Elsie went to see father Christmas in Rottingdean it was very cold but we had a wonderful day! Daddy went fishing...but came back empty handed! Elsie Rolled over for the first time on saturday afternoon and once she did it there was no stopping her! She has also strated to suck her fingers just like Tilly does which is rather strange!
On saturday night we went over to see Grandad Grey in hospital, which was nice as he seemed to be getting better then, but unfortunaly he has caught a bug and has been transfered back to Worthing hospital now, hopefully he will be better soon. We then went back to Grandma and Grandad'a house and had a big beef stew with Apple pie and custard - Yummy!!!
Sunday was Sam's christening, we had a lovely day and the weather was good which always makes the day that much more special. Tilly has been at school on monday and tuesday and this morning we had to take Baby Elsie to have her Jabs...she is 16 weeks today! Tillys big girl bed will be arriving on friday and they will have their own rooms!This weekend we want o sort out the girls rooms and also finish off the garden!...unless Daddy has lots of other work on!
This afternoon we are going to Katie and Alice's house to play! Hope you are all well Please sign our guest book to say you have visited our site!

Well last night we went back to Granny and Pop's house to open our gorgeous gifts and Boy were we spoilt!!!
They were all wonderful and very thoughtful, We love them all! You were all very generous and Choose Beautiful things!..Mummy has not idea where to put them all !

Mummy has to wait in today for Matilda's new mattress...(bed to follow next week!) as Tils is going to be moving into a new room so that Baby Elsie can move into the nursery.
We have not been to Tumble tots this week as Tilly has been shattered since the weekend and she is still on a bit of a high as she will be seeing all of her cousins and Family this weekend for Sam's http://theworldofdaisyandsamuel.blogspot.com/ christening too!
And she has been telling everyone who will listen that she is going to the seaside, Matilda loves being by the sea and spending time with her cousins, Mia and Bob and Daisy and Sam!

Anyone wanting to join us for supper...we have lots of potatoes left!!! I think I went abit wild in the ailse with the tatties!!!
Please can you send me any photos you may have taken as Tom left the changing bag at home with the camera in it (and Elsie's nappies!!!).... He was not in toooooo much trouble as you can imagine!!!

Christening!

Thank you to everyone that travelled all the way to see us yesterday to celebrate the girls christening we had a wonderful day and we hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we did!!!

The service was wonderful - Although I think Mummy and Daddy's singing left alot to be desired!!! The girls were very well behaved and Tilly's only requirements were that the water did not go in her eyes!!!

The children we invited were all beautifully behaved and the little girls all looked like princesses! and every man I passed wanted to take Sam home...he is obviously a boys boy!!!...especially when he was drinking from the dogs bowl!

Matilda really did enjoy her special day and is very excited to be going to Brighton next weekend to celebrate Sam's christening...she is such a Hardcore P.A.R.T.Y girl ...Ummm, I think we choose the right Godmother for her in Michaela!!!
I think Elsie managed to sleep through most of the day!! A lthough I was soooo busy hobnobing I didn't pay much attention to the poor little one!

We have decided to go back To Granny and Pops house to open the presents on wednesday night as the girls have been spoilt rotten and have so many I need to write a list as we open them and I thought if we transported them to the car we may lose Cards and not know who they are from so we are not being ungrateful we just want to spend some time looking at them and then I can send some Thank You cards out!

Thanks again to Granny, Pops, Grandma & Grandad and the wonderful and talented God Parents...Michaela, Julia, Emma (and special Auntie Katie) Tom, Beau, Christian and Charles (who due to Army commitments in Napal could not make it -Lucy was a wonderful stand in and we can't wairt to see you soon!!!)

It was great to see everyone we hope everyone had lots to eat and drink and that they arrived safely home - as we know some people got stuck on motorways with the snow.

Yesterday was Daddy's Birthday and Matilda made Daddy a birthday cake, Daddy had lots of cool gifts but one very special one was an ' eglu' which now means he is the proud new owner of two chickens... Tils has named them 'Higgle and Dora'! so we should hopefully be getting eggies for brekkie very soon!!!

Mummy and Daddy went to 'The crazy bear' over in Oxford last night for Daddy's Birthday dinner, it was great - Granny and Pops Babysat so we were able to go and enjoy ourselves, Mummy had Chicken and Pistachio Terrine to start with Pickles and Malted brown bread, I then had King Prawns and Clams for Main and salted peanut Caramel with Chocolate sorbet for dessert, Daddy had Lamb (Uncle Tum suggested Brains - as he was convinced he had seen them on either Gordon Ramsey or River Cottage???) with bearnaise sauce and he also had Venison Pie for main and then Lemon Posset for dessert, it is a gorgeous venue and we would have loved to have stayed the night! When we had finished Eating Unlce Tum/Big Tom/Bowl and Loz came to join us for a drink which was lovely as they had driven from Maidenhead after a long days work! We left at 12 am and got home late it was a really lovely night and a big treat!The Crazy Bear!!!Daddy, Unlce Tum and Loz!

Today was tumble tots and then we had a presentation at Tilly's school she was given a 'treasure chest' of treats - 2 reading books, some colouring pencils and stickers.
Daddy finished work early so we went to town and Daddy brought Matilda and Keira a milk shake!!!

Elsie has started trying to hold her bottle, she has also been holding her head really well and has got so big and strong!!

Where do I start?

We have had a really busy few days! On Friday we walked into town and did some shopping, we went to see Katie and Alice on the way home and stopped and played for a while, their auntie Penny was there too! In the morning Tilly's hair was very tangley and full of knots,she does not like having her hair brushed at all as it hurts (no matter how gentle Mummy is!) so Mummy gave her a deep conditioning treatment, Hopefullyit will not need cutting before her special day on sunday! (thats why her hair is stuck to her head in the picture!) Tilly kissing elsie her eskimo twin! Alice playing Mummy's! She liked feeding Elsie - We have a new babysitter! Tils walking down to the shops, it took us about an hour to do a 6 minutes walk! She kept wanting to push the buggy and Crunch all of the big orange leaves! Her hat is from Canada, Grandma got it for her and she has named it Mini the dog! We have taken it everywhere since we got it and when we went to school on Thursday we forgot it and Mummy had to go back for it! Tils playing Mummy's pushing the buggy! It was such a wonderful crisp autumn morning and the cold is really setting in! Baby Elsie for all you Twiglet fans out there! We have dropped the 'T' and We have taken to calling her 'Wiglet' now as the hair keeps growing and she is filling out! On saturday Daddy was working and Mummy, Tilly and Elsie went with Granny and Amber to the Cardus school christmas Bizarre, Mummy brought a few little stocking fillers and Tilly made some lovely things in the craft room, we had some lunch and Tilly iced a biscuit with lots of artificial, fluro green and red, sweeties with an extra helping of 'E' numbers! she loved it and picked the sweets off one at a time and shared them out! Then we all went into Banbury, Granny took Tilly off to see the boats while Mummy did some shopping, as it is Daddy's Birthday tomorrow - 14th November, and then we went home and Mummy and Daddy had a quiet night in.... Mummy sorted their bedroom out...an excuse to go upstairs and watch X factor! On Sunday morning Daddy had to get a latch for the gate so I got Tilly got ready to go to Banbury and I said to her 'shall Mummy and Elsie come with you to Banbury' and Tilly said ' UMMM maybe not Mummy!' - Cheeky Monkey! Elsie and Mummy sorted the got ready to go to Granny's and we went over to Granny and Pop's hosue for sunday lunch as Auntie Bindle was home for the weekend. Mummy and Daddy 'Bulldogging!'being silly and dressing up in clothes from Granny's dressing up chest! Daddy looks like an old sailor and Iam not quite sure what Mummy looks like! Mummy doing some kung fu! The suit was Awfully tight!!!- I could not get it over my boots! The waist coat was appartently one of Daddy's favourite garments during his teenage years!!! Yesterday we went to Olivia's house and then Tilly had school - of course she was wearing mini the dog!Mummy had some things to send so Elsie and I went down to the post office with Susie and Penny. Mummy also had to buy lots of scrumptious things for Sunday's puddings!!!

Tils has school this afternoon, Mummy and Elsie have lots of little jobs to do today as we have the Christening this weekend and Mummy and Daddy are going to the Crazy bear ( www.crazybeargroup.co.uk ) to celebrate Daddy's birthday tomorrow so Mummy needs to try and beautify herself!....Looking at the picture above its actually quite a big job!!! ha ha ha !

Ouch bad teeth!

Yesterday and Today has been quite relaxed as Tilly is getting one of her back teeth through, she has been quite uncomfortable and quite tearful, so we did not go to Tumble tots today - so Tils has been doing handstands at home instead!




I was going to keep her off of school too as she was very clingy and not at all like herself, but she was desperate to go and kept telling me that she wanted to do painting and see Milly and Amy - girls in her class! So she went and had a great time, she got home and played with Keira for a bit and then Daddy came home from work and took her over to Dr Mike's house to see Liberty, so she is over there now and having supper with them while Daddy sorts out their radiators...lucky girl!
Elsie has been a sleep alot and is needing larger feeds, she is so much more settled and relaxed to what she has been, she seems to be alot more content now, which is good! Vicky is coming over tonight for Mummy to do her hair, I met her at Matilda's post natal group and have not seen her in a while so it will be great to hear how Grace is doing as all the girls in our Post natal group were born within a week of each other.

Tumble Tots!

This morning was Tumble Tots, We walked up with Tina, Keira, Harley, Jess, Jacob, Poppy and Michelle, Aydan and Korey, It was fun but the hall was very cold...Winter is setting in! Tilly was busy doing her usual roley poley's and Climbing her balance is getting really good and she keeps trying to get her legs up in the air to do a full hand stand but over balances and goes right the way over!!! Tilly is very tired as she had a very late night last night, And Elsie is quite grizzly.We had to rush back from Tumble Tots as Tilly has preschool this afternoon, if we walk fast enough we get there just in time!
I think her and Elsie are both getting colds so we shall be staying home and keeping warm for a while, it is quite bright here but absolutly freezing!!!

Fireworks!

This morning we had some things to get ready for tonight and then this afternoon Tilly wento to preschool, she had a great time and Told me that she had done some singing which she just loves! She sang wind the bobbing up and the wheels on the bus...her favs!!!!
Tonight we have had our friends around to watch some fireworks, It was lovely to see everyone and the girls had a great time! There were lots of excited 2 year olds running round! Mummy made some chili and jacket potatoes and Carrot soup with home made bread and we finished off with trifle and banoffee pie!

I have just typed a really long and (VERY interesting!!!) post and deleted it all by accident! Duh!

Anyway Grandma and Grandad came up to stay last night and we went to the Brackley Firework display it was great fun - Tils thought it was fantastic, she kept saying that the fireworks were 'very Pretty' and she clapped every time there were big sparkley ones! She was very excited to be out in the dark with Daddy, Grandma and Grandad!



This morning we went the the Continental Market - not Farmer's Market as I thought! and brought some sausage... (as I said my last post was VERY interesting I even named all 3 varieties, but I will save you the reading!) and Grandad brought some of the biggest Mirengues in the world! We were going to go for an Indian Meal but missed the Lunch time openning so we got some Hot Paella from the Market and had Paella in the park! We also indulged in some French Tarts !
It was a low flying visit from Granda and Grandad, and the next time we see them will be at the Christening!

Busy weekend!

This weekend is going to be very busy! Today we have lots of jobs to do at home as Mummy and Daddy are going to start doing Tilly's bedroom soon as Elsie is getting too big for her moses basket and needs to go into the nursery room! So Mummy is power cleaning!!!



Tonight Grandma and Grandad are coming to stay, so Tils is very excited and has been asking every 5 minutes 'whens my Grandad coming' and 'is Grandma here yet?'


Then tonight we have the local firework display.



Tomorrow is the farmers market -a very big date in the Brackley calender!!!

Then we are going for an indian meal.

On monday I am looking after Liberty and then Tils will go to school, Unfortunatly they are not in the same sessions so I get rid of one two year old in the morning and gain another!!!- Never mind they are good girls!


Monday evening we are having a firework party at ours and we will have lots of little people round to watch and sparklers, so Mummy really should get off the computer and do some housework!

Tumble Tots!

Yesterday we went to Tumble Tots and Tilly and Mummy and Jess did some handstands! Tilly is getting very good at her roly poly's and keeps trying to do a handstand! she goes on the wide beams and roly poly's off, unfortunatly they do not allow you to use your camera in the hall so I dont have any pictures, but Tilly is hoping to start her Gymnastics classes in January!
Today Macy and Finley came to play and they all dressed up! Mummy cut and coloured Rachel's hair so no one will recognise her now!!! We are really excitrd to see Grandma and Grandad tomorrow xxx
