Elsie was off on Monday and Tuesday with a nasty chesty cough and Today I did not let them have swimming lessons as it is freezing and we have snow forecast - well in the next 48 hours at least and how much snow I do not know!
I have started to feel abit coldy now. We had naughty hot dogs for tea and fruity yogurt which the girls loved...(obviously not together!)
I can not wait to have a weekend snuggled up with my girls, Matilda is meant to be going to her friends House for a birthday tea party on Sunday but aside from that we are plan free which is lovely and just what we need! x

Today I'm adding some photos from the last few months! I'm shockingly bad at remembering to add pictures on here (Or generally update)!

So whats been happening I hear you cry?! Well Matilda and Elsie are just fabulous! Both thriving at school and very happy.

Elsie has had a sore throat and cold for the last few days and is back at school after a couple of days rest, when I asked her yesterday how she felt she said that she was better now but that her 'face was still poorly!'. Her speech is getting better but she is still not very clear with some joining sounds, luckily this does not affect her confidence, she doesn''t stop chatting away!

Matilda is just lovely and the highlight of her week has been another wobbly tooth! I cant wait to see what she looks like when the front top two fall out!

Today was Elsie's first day at school she started Miss Foster's Reception class, Daddy came down to walk her and Matilda to school, she looked so gorgeous (and teeny tiny!!) but it was still horrible her having a different uniform to here big sister!

When Elsie got into her Class she went straight to her tray and found her name!

Washbrook Farm

The girls have been super dupa non stop busy this week, Mummy and Sam took them to Washbrook Farm today, we had a picnic and spent the day in the blistering heat (with hats and sunscreen of course!) on the HUGE trampoline, eating, The indorr ball pool, petting animals, playing in the Maze, going on a tractor ride...Oh its ooooo hard being 4 and 6!

Our magical mystery tour to Peppa Pig World!

We woke up and Grandma said that Grandpa had preprogrammed the sat nav in Rosie (Grandma's Grey Freelander) to take us for a magical mystery tour!

We got in the car and went for a VERY long drive! It was a beautifully warm day and we ended up at Peppa Pig land! Elsie was thrilled and Matilda loved it too as it is based is on the Paultons park site and had 'bigger kids' rides too so she was thrilled when she got to go on a roller coaster with Mummy and a HUGE flying disk too!

On the way home we stopped at Uncle Carls and Auntie Gill's

Grandma had packed her beautiful picnik basket filled with delicious food! Matilda had a good run around in the water park then came back to our table to eat!

We got so wet on the log ride that we paid to go into a drying booth it was so much fun in the there and dried us sooo quickly!

Henry's 4th Birthday

Today was Henry's 4th Birthday party it was at their house and it was circus themed so Matilda choose to go as a Trampeze girl.... she borrowed a leotard from our neighbour Elise and put them over her butterfly tights, she literally bounced to their house! Elsie was a clown...as per!

Today was Elsie Wiglet's Birthday Party, She choose a Princess and Pirate theme and Mummy and Sam set up camp in Kipling Gardens to have the party, There was a eco friendly cardboard castle and a eco friendly pirate ship for the children to play with, and lunch boxes filled with Elsie's favourite treats!

We also played pass the parcel and did a hat, scarf and glove relay and of course the obligatory sweetie buffet to end proceedings!

Rottingdean Village Fete

Today we went to the Village fete, It was fun as there were lots of things to do, we saw so many people we knew and we bumped into Baby Maddie so Matilda and Elsie wanted to take her on the tea cups! Maddie loved being with the big girls!

Elsie and Matilda got to choose some sweeties, had a good old bounce and got to go on the other amusements and rides then we watched some singing and dancing and had some food form the barbecue area with Nanny Maureen!

We also checked out the goats in the travelling farm!

Today we went over to Brooklands park with Carla and Aimee, we had an ice cream, then we got to have a bounce around on the cool indoor bouncing area, We also had a delicious Picnic and a swim in the paddling pool, It was a VERY hot day and very very busy, There were lots of wasps around so we went to the other play area away from the bins near the paddling pool and had a play on the huge musical instruments! x

We went on the bus after school to Aimee's house for her 5th Birthday party, It was so lovely to sit in the garden and eat spaghetti bolognaise and birthday cake!

We had a mad dash after school to get Matilda to her Ballet exam in Lewes, whilst Matilda was sorting her kit out, Elsie was 'wag'ing' it up with her pretend mobile and handbag on the wrist!

Matilda was only in there for about 8 minutes but it gave Mummy plenty of time to try and peak behind the closed door and watch her gorgeous little Ballerina, *insert token emotional Mum symbol here*

As Elsie's Sports day had already been rained off the staff at Whiteways decided to hold the annual event inside, Elsie was so pumped for the Sports day and gave her a chance to show of her super fast skillz! She won about 6 of the tasks and came 2nd in the others, Elsie has a very competitive streak! - and is also incredibly fast for such a little lady!!!

Matilda had an inset day today, so she got ot decide what we did for the morning as Elsie was at nursery until1, she choose to go to Saltdean park on her bike, so we went for a cruise along the undercliff on our bikes!

It was lovely for me and the big girl to have some time together as we rarely get special time alone and I can not believe how grown up she has got!

As the weather was lovely we decided it was a good day for a beach picnic and packed up our baggage and headed to the shore... The girls decided they wanted to play on the stretch of beach by Saltdean so we lugged our stuff along the undercliff pitched a perch and chillaxed on our beautiful local beach!

Daisy Pop's 7th Popstar Birthday Party

Matilda had a very exciting invite to a very exciting party today! It was her second cousin Daisy's 7th Birthday Party and Matilda had to dress like a popstar!

Tils was Thrilled as Mummy generally likes her to wear dresses and at most events the girls wear matching so it was a double whammy of excitement wearing 'Teenage Clothes & *Gasp* Non Matching'

After being dropped off for the OFFICIAL party, Mummy and Wig returned later for the family installment of celebrations, The rest of the clan were there and the girls as always had a fab time with their cousins (Bob eventually put Elsie down!)

Grandma took the girls to Mass for Good Friday service and then Mummy went shopping and got a fab picnik, The weather was glorious and we spent the afternoon playing on the beach with lots of food!

Matilda got lots of presents but the one she was holding out for was the Nintendo DS she had admired them for some time with Mummy being adamant she was too young..... Mummy gave in and Matilda was thrilled when she received it with a Tinkerbell Game, Auntie Jo then bought her a Kitten and Puppy game too! Grandma and Grandpa got her a gorgeous jewellery box and Nanny pineapple gave her a charm bracelet with one of her special charms on it, Matilda was thrilled and spoilt rotten! Elsie got her a Wheres Wally postcard book which she loved too!

Matilda's 6th Birthday Pottery Party... and Surprise!

Today Was Matilda's pottery Party, she invited a few prize girl friends (Not even Elsie was fortunate enough to be on the guest list!) and they all painted a teacup and saucer at Fireworks pottery in lewes, It was wonderful and as it was Easter weekend a few people were unable to attend, in this instance a small group worked out perfectly!

Everyone had a lunch box filled with Matilda's favourite treats....
Although it was at a pottery workshop Matilda requested a Lego theme, so we had lego bubbles, a lego brick cake, a lego framed Age 6 decoration, the 'LOVE YOU' logo's and cuos and jugs decorated with lego, the cake also had a lego frog and lego men on it!

Today Uncle Charlie & Auntie Kim finally tied the knot, We have been waiting for for days to be Auntie Kim's special Girls!

It was soooo beautiful, We got ready with Grandma and Mummy had to go to Auntie Kim's Mummy's house, We wore beautiful dresses and loved the whole ceremony, Elsie started singing half way through and was a little fidgety but overall the Girls were fabulous.

Today we were super busy! It was Brighton Marathon and we got up early to help Andrea feed her horses, We then scooted to Town to follow the marathon and see Kelly come in.

On the way a lady gave us some delicious cake and we stopped and munched that, It was soooooo hot that when we finally hit town Mummy let us choose a Ice Cream at Boho Gelato in Pool Valley, It really was delicious!

Then we went to Choccywoccydoodah to choose Auntie Jo some Chocolates and then to Krispy Kreme to get some delicious donuts to take to Jo and Murphy's barbeque.

We stayed at Grandma's last night so that Mummy and grandma got to wake up together on Mothers day as Grandpa and Uncle Charlie were in Bordeaux for Uncle Charlie's Stag do!

We woke up early and had....shhhhhh Chocolate in bed (Dont tell Grandpa!) and we gave eachother some gifts, Matilda and Elsie gave me a teatowel, cupcake socks, champagne and chocolate, I was then taken to the Hilton for breakfast! I had a fabulous day and was spoilt rotten!

We never want to grow up! Carla and Aimee stayed last night for a sleepover, we got up nice and early and scooted to the marina where we choose a Picnik fit for a queen and then continued to scoot to Peter Pans play park, It was a beautiful day and the First really sunny day of the year, the Girlies were all fantastic and didnt once moan!... They scooted all the way there and all the way back! We had so much fun! x

PORTUGAL - On the beach!

Tilly had her school Liturgy this afternoon, they sang some songs and read some prayers and then Ms Anscombe played a power point presentation of photos of them throughout the year, It was Lovely and made Mummy realise Just how much Matilda has progressed in the last year and how lucky I am to have such gorgeous amazing daughters xxx

To celebrate the end of term and end of the water/pirate topic, Ms Anscombe organised a after school picnic party on the beach for the reception class and their family, we took a picnic down and had a great afternoon watching Matilda get a pirating certificate from Pirate pete.

Matilda and Elsie both dressed up as Pirates and enjoyed their picnik and some cupcakes.

We are yet to have a 2010 update so now seems as good a time as any to update! I will also try and fill in the blanks along the way!

I will add pictures from the last 6 months and try and back date some posts as I have been notably rubbish at updating in the last year.

The girls are doing really well and Love living by the sea side, Matilda had a school trip to the beach earlier and Elsie had a singing concert at her nursery, we went to the beach after school and had a picnic.... Mummy forgot that Uncle Charlie and Auntie Kimberly were collecting Tils to take her out for the evening so we had to rush back super fast! Charlie and Kim took Tils to the pier and then had fish and chips on the beach, they bought Matilda home and Charlie carried Matilda to the front door as she was a sleep then placed her on the sofa when he got into the house, Mummy picked her up to put her into bed and she played a trick and jumped up and said 'Boooooo' and made us all jump! The girls are snuggled up in bed now and mummy has just spoken to Nanny Joyce about coming for supper tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Uncle Chuck

After we dropped Tils off at school Wig and Mummy went to Collect Uncle Char's birthday Present, then we came home and made a Huge Jelly for his tea party tomorrow night - we are going to make a trifle but we needed to make sure said jelly had set first so we thought over night would be best.
Wig and Mummy had lots of jobs to do today so we got on around the house and then collected Tils from School We walked (I walked and pushed both girls up the hill...but I'm not bitter!) up to Grandma and Grandads, We were surprised to see that Grandma wasn't back from hospital yet so we went down to see Jan while we were waiting for Catherine to get back with Ruby and Luisa, We had a chat and some juice then went up to The Moran House and had a delicious sups of Jacket pots and then strawberries and ice cream for pud, Mummy had to leave the girls there for a bit so that she could go down to Matilda's First parents evening.
Just as we were loading up the buggy Grandma and Grandad arrived back so we went into see them and raid the sweetie bag - the fairies had bought some very grown up poppets and high school musical chocolate bars, Grandad was so Happy with Matilda's feed back from Parents evening he ave her some sweetie money! We walked home and practiced out Halloween witchy walking in the dark!

Today Mummy went to Matilda' Parents evening, Mummy was soooo thrilled she cried!
Ms Anscomb said that she was very happy with Matilda and that she was developing really wellin all areas, That she was a keen learner and helper.
We were talking about how Matilda can now do sounds she was struggling with just 3 weeks ago and how much Matilda likes to read.
Ms Anscomb said 'isn't she just the prefect Child, I dont think I have had to tell her off once, she is so confident without being over confident and kind natured, a lovely little girl!'.....
Mummy replied 'wait until next year when you get Wig'....
To which Ms Anscomb replied ' Dont worry I have her cards marked'.

Happy Halloween

Today we went to Asda to get some halloween supplies, Matilda and Elsie both chose their costumes and plates, cups, bowls and decorations they wanted, It was very exciting and the range was vast! There is so much to choose from....We wanted everything but Mummy had to ration it, Its hard to know when to stop!....Matilda requested a bloody and broken foot to 'stick on the table'
Whilst we were paying at the checkout Matilda started to question how the world was created and if God built Asda when he created the world, 'or was it just a man'? I was still chuckling at this when we go outside to cross the road and a really fat slobby man is coughing and spluttering and Matilda blurts out at top of her Voice ' Excuse me are you healthy?'...Mummy was so taken aback she could not actually stop laughing. Mummy is terrible in these situations.
because I was laughing so hard and trying to get Matilda and Elsie away from Lurgy man, we missed the bus so the girls had a massive treat and we went to Macdonalds, we once again tried to catch the bus.....we missed the once hourly bus again so we then went to Zingarella's for an ice cream all together we had a wonderfully product and glutenous day!

Sunday in Cornwall

Mummy got up early with the girls today and we went and explored on the beach, it was still dark when we left and there were lots of Bunny rabbits hopping about!
When we left it was quite mild however once the sun had come up it soon turned grey and then began to rain so we ran back to the on site shop where the girls we each allowed to choose a treat, Matilda chose a beaded instrument that you twist and Elsie chose a woven bouncy ball and then we went has a quick play in the park and look around we went back to the caravan and had another massive breakfast and then Mummy, Kimberly and Charlie went surfing, it was so much fun! Grandma and Nanny Joycee took the girsl to the kids club again.
We came back got showered and Charlie and Kimberly packed and then we went in search of fish and chips we found a restaurant and Matilda had Scampi and Elsie had some roast beef. We walked down the road and had the best Cornish Ice Cream! - Elsie had a chupa chup Lolly!
we then went in search of Gifts for Daddy and Ms Anscoombe, we bought them each a bag of fudge made with delicious cornish clotted cream!
we said goodbye to Nanny and Charlie and Kimberly and went back to the caravan to pack up, Mummy and the Girls went and played in the aprk and went to the club house for drinks, Matilda did some colouring and Elsie did some driving!
Then we set off back to Sunny Brighton! We had the best time - Thanks Grandma, Grandad, Nanny Joycee, Charlie and Kimberly! xxx

Out in Newquay!

Uncle Charlie, Kimberly and Grandma got up really early with Matilda (Matilda went and got into bed with Grandma at 4am she was so excited!) and Elsie today and took them over to the beach, Mummy was able to have a lie in! when they returned we all had a delicious cooked breakfast and then the Children when over to the club house at the caravan site and played at the tots play session, it was very quiet because it was out of season and the girls enjoyed having the toys to themselves! After the Kids club we all went into Newquay town we went for a Cup of tea near to the beach and to a bakers and bought pasties and scones, and then Nanny Joycee and Grandma took Matilda and Elsie on a Noddy train around the town, Grandad, Mummy, Charlie and Auntie Kimberly went exploring (Looking around the shops!) When they had finished on the train we went back to The caravan where we ate the fresh scones with clotted cream and local jam - They were delish!
Then Grandad and Charlie got kitted up to go surfing, Matilda and Elsie had been asleep after such a long morning and when Tils woke up she was too tired too join them so didn't want to wear her wetsuit (which was actually too small as it was from Wales last year), However never one to miss a party the Wiginator wanted to join them and asked to put on Matilda's wetsuit, she kept grabbing Matilda's board and saying 'my go now', unfortunately it was too late and too choppy for her to go - oh and she cant swim!
Nanny Joycee and I took the girls over to the mini disco and had a boogie! Again because it is out of season it was very quiet, The Girls did Musical bumps and Matilda won a holiday mug - which was perfect for her holiday hot chocolate with marshmallows! And then they had to do Angry impressions....Wig did the famous one eyed Willy and won a bracelet!
We went back to the caravan and Grandad had cooked Steak sandwiches and we all watched X Factor....we also ate the fudge we bought in the town earlier that day!

After school today Matilda hopped on the back of the buggy (In the pouring rain!) and Mummy rusked us home where Grandma and Granada were waiting .......to take us to Newquay!
We loaded up the car and got going on our long journey, We were so wet after our school run so we had to dry out on the way!
Elsie has really started to talk alot now, Not all the things she chats about are clear but Im beginnning to know what she means, She was quite clearly saying 'get out now' She had enough of being in the car and was ready to get walking- even if it was halfway there on the motorway at 10pm at night.
We had a long Journey down and arrived Very Late at night it took 6 hours!
We arrived at Holywell Bay Caravan park and found our Caravan (which Matilda renamed the Caravan of Love!)
We got in and Made the beds up and put the Girls down for Sleepy boo peepy!

Matilda let her sister out of her bedroom this morning as Elsie has a stair gate on her room, they went downstairs and watched Milkshake..... I came downstairs to find a semi naked Elsie...covered in cookie crumbs! We had bought some individual packs of Oreo's yesterday to take away with us at the weekend to Newquay.
I asked her if she had taken them and helped herself and the little monkey pointed and said 'No Mum -mum Tilty'...Covered in evidence and still blaming her sister. She had it all over her, all down her face and body and was holding the packet....what do you think Innocent or guilty?

We decided to have a halloween party on Saturday 31st October 2009 at 5.30, we bought some bits, started to plan our menu and costumes and then Mummy made some computer invitations, they are not very clear when on here and facebook (which is how we have circulated them) as they have been shrunk to fit - the original I sent via email is alot clearer!

Welcome Assembly

Daddy came to Matilda's welcome assembly and we walked down with Wig.

Matilda had her welcome assembly at Our Lady of Lourdes today, It was a chance for Mummy and Daddy to see her friends and their Parents and teachers.
We also got to watch her go through the welcome arch and hear the older children sing hymns and find out more about the school, It was wonderful. Matilda sat beautifully throughout, she is so grown up and it seems every days she is turning into a gorgeous older child.
After school Matilda was able to buy some sweeties with Daddy, we then all walked home together and then Daddy got the girls all packed up and went back to their house in Brackley for the Weekend.

Today was beautifully sunny we went and had a picnic on the beach and Jessica Ellen and Bella were there, their Mummy had some work to do so we stayed and played on the beach while she went off to do her jobs, the girls climbed on the rocks, tried to do sandy hand sands and dipped their feet in the water. Michelle, (Jess & Ellens Mummy) came back with Ice Lollies for us all Yummy!

Sam's 3rd Dino Birthday Party!

Today was Sam's Dino Party! We had the best time!It was beautiful weather and we spent the day in the garden, Fiona had made the party amazing with everything Dinosaur themed and lovely games, the children went on an egg hunt and then had to 'hatch' the plaster eggs with hammers. The children also did dinosaur dances and ate Dinosaur shaped sandwiches and monster munch!
Once Sam's other friends had gone home we got the sprinkler out and played in the water.

Today Mummy and Matilda went to see Stephanie, Sportacus, Pixel, Stingey and friends in Lazy Town live a pirate adventure, we had the best time and some rare time alone as we usually have Wiglet as well (Wig was lucky to have a sleep over at Grandma's!)
We went a choose some delicious treats to take with us, and when we arrived at the theatre Matilda chose a fluffy wand and bunny ear combo that she bought with the spending money from Grandad. She loved the Show and we were able to move right up to the front of the balcony so we had a great view. After Lots of dancing and singing along we went to shakeaway for a milkshake, we then went to uncle Charlie's for a flying visit. Finally we came home and finished off our sewing, we made a skirt and head band combo , Then Grandad picked us up so we could go and collect Wig and Grandma from town and collapse the buggy...Grandma had forgotten how to do it!

Tils starts big school!

Since Our lost post a lot has happened Mummy, Tils, and Elsies have moved to Brighton and we are now living in Rottingdean.
Today seems like a good time to start reposting as Matilda had her first day at big school! She started Our Lady of Lourdes in Rottingdean today and went in from 9am - 12, she had a fanastic time and enjoyed meeting her new class mates. Daddy came and stayed with us so that he was able to take Tils in for her first morning. We all walked in together, Mummy and Daddy went into to the class to say our goodbyes and as always Matilda was very happy to be left and merrily went on her way to mix with her new friends! Mummy and Daddy Were very emotional and finally composed ourselves in the car only for us to recieve an email form Auntie Dawn with a pic of Mia ready for her first day at senior school, that started us off again! Tils went for a tour of the school and was most impressed with the library, she is soooo excited about going back in on monday, she wishes she could go in tomorrow.

Matilda decided she absolutely completely must have to have a crab cake (Sebastian birthday cake to go with her under the sea themed Party)...Mummy was up until stupid o'clock the night before baking it and icing it to make it as believable as possible..... only for the Wiginator to jump in and eat the claws 2 hours before Matilda's party! ..... = A very sad Mummy and Tilly :(

The claws were reformed with A Tesco Swiss roll, lots of icing and more Orange food colouring.

Today we went to see the big guy himself!
We went over to Milton Keynes with Granny to see Father Christmas, It was so much fun - Mummy is some what of an expert when it comes to the Big FC and she thought he rocked! He was amazing and had a real beard and low voice, I am convinced it was a double bluff....That he was the real one pretending to be a fake!

Tilly and Elsie both got a lovely gift from Santa - they were actually quite good ones! Tils got a scooby doo tin with magnets, and colouring stuff and Elsie got a cool rag doll.

Today Daddy bought a Christmas tree for us, We had lots of fun decorating it with the new decorations we bought this morning, Elsie was loving all the little bits and bobs and took them off about 100 times faster than we could put them on!
Elsie keeps pulling her skirt and top up to show her tummy - she thinks it is really funny!
Tils loved going throught the box of decorations, and thought the Pink beads were fab, she wore them as a necklace for about half an hour!

Merry 'almost' Christmas From Matilda and Elsie

It suddenly feels like Christmas! It has popped up on us again. Mummy is so unprepared, I have only just started shopping!
Mummy has been busy packing and getting everything ready for our big move and the girls have been busy socialising and doing toddler things...Elsie is a fully fledeged walker now and is also incredibly stubborn - not like anyone I know! So she wants to walk everywhere...even though she has another new buggy which I would rather she sat in and looked beautiful!....What will I do when she out grows a buggy, I can't bare to think about it!
Tils is loving calender time in the morning, she loves finding the numbers on the calenders but adores the treats inside, we had to doctor Elsies to remove anything that would set off her allergies, but she is more than happy with some raisens and a banana chip!
The last few days have been quite borng as Mummy has been packing and sorting stuff out, It will probably be the same for another few days too! We do need to make our cards though and have some other crafty things planned.
and some Big news....We hope to visit Santa in the next few days!

As you can see I have not been great at updating this blog recently! Elsie and I are staying at Charlie's for the next few days whilst Matilda and Daddy are cruising around Eurodisney with Auntie Bindle. Tils also has chicken pox so she is a spotty bean.
Mummy has been flat hunting in Brighton but we are yet to find anything suitable, they are either too cheap or too expensive, too high up or too small... we are hoping to find something in the next few days so fingers crossed!
Grandma took Elsie for a few hours last night whilst Mummy caught up with Liane and B, it was great to see them and later on Elsie joined us and showed off her teeth! Today we are meeting Carla and Aimee for sushi - Elsie loves Sushi! If you click on this link there is a voucher for 5 free plates of sushi!

Today we went to see Charles before he goes to Afghanistan for his 6 month tour ('tour' makes it sound like a holiday...Posting?) We met him and Lucy in West Wycombe and went for a walk around the national trust area and then we went to a viallage pub for ice cream a drink and a play on their climbing frame. It was great to see them and we can not wait to see them again soon!

This morning Tils went out to work with Daddy, they had to get rid of all the scrap metal Daddy has been collecting for the last few months. Then they came back and Daddy had to fix the leak in the bath - we are always the last to get plumbing jobs finished!!!
Then we walked to town and Tils had to print some pictures she had choosen of her family, she had about 20 pictures as she has pictures of Daisy and Sam, Mia and Bob, Cala and Jay, Jo, Grandma, Grandad, Nanny pineapple (Nanny Maureen)Uncle Charlie, Granny and Pops.- They are for school, she has to tell her class about her family, the only person we did not have a suitable picture of was Auntie Bindle - she is holding a glass or cigarette in all of our pictures so they were deemed unsuitable by the panel - Mummy and Daddy! I think most of the Children will have their immediate family so I hope the teachers have put aside a couple of hours for Tils presentation!

Funky friday

This morning we were on Lemon Curd duty again as our last batch was such a success we were getting requests for more, Tils was great at whisking up the eggs and squeezing the lemons and limes, When we had finshed we went down to Livvy and Penny's house and we all walked to town, we shared the buggy which was a disaster as we bought too much in waitrose and had no room for it all! The two older girls went to school and the Mummy's, little ones and Gemma, Lara and Hattie went back to our house for scones, jam and clotted cream. Then Livvy came round for Tea and we had homemade carrot soup which the girls helped to make.

Blackberry milkshake

Today we went Brambling, we got up early to try and find some blackberries to make a pie (Although Tils wanted a blackberry milkshake!) but we could not find any! We looked high and low and searched in lots of places but they had all gone.
Mummy's phone had been broken (it is also a 'blackberry' it must have gone out of season too, I was almost tempted to liquidise my phone into a milkshake!), it had put its self into 'flight' mode and would not recieve any calls for the last few days, it started working again but then stopped so it has to go back to the shop for a repair - she has so many problems with phones! Her sewing machine and the computer have also been playing up so she has been trying to fix those too! Granny has taken Tils and Elsie for the night so Daddy is going to take Mummy out for supper...Yum yum!

Mummy was surprised when a leaflet popped through the door and it was one of the final fliers she had designed for Hannah (@ defern) - Really bad photo of Mummy... But I was so pleased with the final result when it had the real logo on and had got to print! The more elaborate ones are going on her website and other internet stuff.

Today we took our new buggy out for a spin, we only managed to have the last one for a grand total of 9 days before we had to sell it so that Tils could be transported around! I had waited ages for the Lulu Guiness I love you buggy, but now we have a sensible double buggy! Tils is back in shoes and is able to walk although she says she is abit 'wobbly' in the mornings until she wakes up properly (about 10am!) she limps, So we have the buggy for long journeys and wet weather!- she looks rediculous in the buggy as she is so big but it holds her weight (according to Phil and Ted) and she is comfortable and it is better than the wheel chair the hospital offered us!

Today Matilda had to go to the hospital to get her ankle checked out, luckily it was not broken and she was able to have the plaster cast removed. She was so brave as she had it pulled and proded by lots of doctors, we had a long morning waiting to see a fracture specialist, we waited 1 hour and 50 minutes before we even saw anyone, but Tils was happy drawing and playing with her sister and asking the other patients what they had done! The doctor loved her rhinestones on her cast!

When Daddy came home he had a suprise (The kind only Daddy's do when their child has had their plaster cast off for a whole 5 hours and we had agreed Father christmas would be getting her one!) A Bicycle for Tilly!
She was so excited and is so in love with it. It is purple,pink and silver -hideous, But it is the best thing in Tilly world and she is thrilled so that is all that matters. She has her own basket for her shopping but she is a bit concerned about Baby betty! She has only riden it in the kitchen so far for fear of hurting her ankle, but we are sure it will see more action soon.
We had paella for supper and Elsie decided she would rather wear hers than eat it!

Today we just chillaxed! Mummy has been designing some fliers for her friend Hannah's beauty salon - I am being repaid in treatments - Yay! So I have spent the last few days helping people with websites, designing fliers, cutting hair, being Mummy and generally very busy! We made some time to take some silly pictures and have fun, we also had some marshmellows toasted on our log burner as it had turned quite cold over the weekend so we had a lovely chilled weekend.

Tils has been having bed baths, but we had to get her in the bath to have a proper wash so, we put a carrier bag over her cast and secured it with hairbands...she thought her Mummy was a loony! But we managed it (Tils had to keep her leg in the air!) and she came out sparkling clean!

Tils seems to be alot more comfortable now, although she is started to get abit aggitated with all the sitting around! Grandma sent her some Gemstones to stick to her cast and she is loving her princess sparkles!
Granny, Rachel,Pops, Penny and Susie popped in yesterday and Livvy stayed for tea, although both Liv and Tils are missing each other a great deal when they are apart, they seemed to argue over everything yesterday! - It was quite funny watching them though because Tils is immobile and she is normally the faster one and this time Liv is running away with the toys and Tils has to stay on the bed! They both ate their supper on a tray on the bed and played with some safari animals and had another tea party! They also played hide and seek - which was restricted to the bed! I have added some photos but the camera is playing up and will not focus too well, so I am sorry about the quality of them.
We just have to wait until the 30th to find out how long Tils is out of action, as she has an appointment at the fracture clinic for more X rays etc.

We had to take Tils to the doctors this morning - she was not impressed with being in the buggy! Liv walked next to her and Elsie squashed in with Penny! It was an early start and Olivia came back to play for a bit and they spent some time playing Catz and Disney princess on the Wii, they also played on the telephone toy- talking to each other even though they were sitting together!
Elsie pelsie pudding and pie sat on Penny and made her cry! - Els looks huge here, she normally looks alot smaller in the face!
Tils and Liv played on the Wii and had a teddy bears picnic. The doctor asked Tils to keep her leg raised all the time, so we have been trying to keep in on a pillow to reduce the swelling.

Tils loved having Livvy around and when it was time for Liv to go to play school Tils listened to some music, Mummy had to keep jumping up to change the songs, she had not really paid attention to the lyrics before as I always listen to the radio when the children are around - my ipod had some pretty fruity language on it! And then Margaret came around and kindly brought Tilly some tomatoes which Tils was thrilled with, Tils played wither her disney game again and then watched Beebies for abit and played with the dressing up book Emma bought her. Daddy came from Work and Emma visited too, so it has been a relaxing day...for Tils!

Its a shame that our first post in weeks is the world exclusive of 'Anklegate' - the full story!

So I better start at the beginning!
Tom was playing rugby yesterday afternoon in Brackers and whenever he plays at home he always rides his bike up to the club house so he can partake in some beer action with the lads afterwards!
Tils scooted up (At sonic speed as per usual!) and I pushed Wig in the bug, when it was time to go home we were all ready for a curry! - boohoo for me, we never got it!
When it was time to leave Tils got tired as she had been running round the club with Macy and Finner's and we had already had a busy day so she asked to put her scoot on top of the buggy and sit on Daddy's bicycle, she was sitting on the cross bar being pushed along and thought she would see what would happen if she put her foot in the spokes - Sounds like something Uncle Charlie would do!

Well obviously it got mangled and tangled, then she started to cry - not because of the pain but because she had lost one of her favourite sandals - she is sooooooo her Great Grandmother's, Grandmother's and Mother's daughter!

She had not realised what had happened to her foot at at first as she was so worried about her sandal and Tom could not see her ankle as he was holding her, so I told him we needed an ambulance ASAP, trying to make it sound really casual so I didn't scare her - you know me ...VERY subtle!!!
Her foot was almost black as all of the blood vessels had surfaced, it was also nearly as swollen as her thigh when it first happen- we thought it had dislocated.
We waited for the Ambulance, and Tils did not want to get in at first, but the Ambulance men Ian and Jim were fabulous - they are not Matilda and Elsie blog readers YET (maybe we will give them the URL when we take a cake down to them!!!!) They were great with both Tils and me - I nearly fainted about 4 times!
I was talking jibberish - quite normal I know, but worse as I was in shock! I was telling Tilly she would see sheep, and out of pure coincidence when we got to the hospital the room they put her in was farm yard themed and there was a massive sheep painted on the wall, which was great as she was fantastic once she saw the sheep that I had promised in my warped state of mind!

This picture was taken just before she was plastered up, The swelling had gone down quite alot by then but it is still pretty bad. - it is her right ankle.

She had 4 X rays which were inconclusive as she had a splint on her ankle, it had metal on it next to the suspected fracture, so it obscured the view of the bone, once they removed the splint they took another 4 X rays but the swelling was so bad they are still unsure whether it is broken or not, so she has to go back to the fracture clinic for more x rays in a week, she had her leg put in a cast and she was given morphine (she is now a mighty morphine power ranger!) and lots of pain relief and she was allowed home providing we return to A & E if she gets uncomfortable or the cast slips. She was super brave!

She is on COMPLETE bed rest for a week... Anyone who knows Matilda will know I have my work cutout on that one, she has already tried to get out of bed twice and said she doesn't really want to wear the 'funny leg' anymore! - her and Vicky are like twins now!

Olivia and Pen popped by to see the patient today whilst Mummy was at Tesco with Emma, she has also been playing on the Disney princess Wii game we brought her for being so brave - it is so dull, but she loves it!
She has had two other treats too - eating in the front room is a big no no here, and she has had breakfast, lunch and tea on the sofa bed. Plus, I do not normally give her tinned food and she had Fi fi and the flower tots pasta shapes (YUK!) in tomato sauce on toast for Sups, so she is absolutely milking it now!

She is off of school for at least a week and is now on the sofa bed in the front room during the day and in her bed at normal bed time until Mummy and Daddy go to bed, then we will bring her back down stairs and take turns in staying with her, Elsie is also up during the night as she is still suffering with her tummy, So we are all going to be tired bunnies! - I have not done personal replies to text messages, facebook messages and emails as there are so many people, so I will send the link to this post - please don't be offended by the impersonal nature!!! Anyone wanting to visit is more then welcome as it will make the week go alot quicker!

Elsie has been fabulous, Emma and Mark kindly took her last night whilst we were at the hospital, and today she has been making lots of noise- she is really loud!

We went down to Brighton for The Disney Themed party that Grandma organised for Elsie's 1st Birthday! It was so much fun and our friends and family worked really hard to make it great! Thank you sooooooooo much to Auntie Jo, Cala, Kelly and Auntie Shelley for all their hard work, you made it a wonderful day!Thank you to everyone who came for the gorgeous gifts and all the hard work you put into your outfits, you made it a very special day !

We went to Rugrats and halfpints today with Milly and Ellie from School, It was raining so it was great to have a nice long play! We were shattered when we got home - Matilda sat down to watch beebies whilst Mummy prepared sups and fell asleep!
We had a creative concoction of bolognaise sauce with macaroni pasta - Was not as bad as it sounded although we didnt have any passatta so we had to use yukky tinned tomatoes...eurghh! Mummy really needs to go shopping! - but keeps putting it off as we are here there and everywhere at the moment! We only have a couple of days until we are back in Brighton so we can probably wait until we get back to do a proper shop...Iam not sure what to cook in the mean time...something creative and delicious!!!
We could not get any photos in the play centre as they do not allow cameras..so its a boring post today!

Today was a lazy day! We had a delicious roast dinner! Daddy and Beau worked all day in the rain to build the Pergola in the garden! It looks so good!

Happy Birthday Elsie!

Today we celebrated with Elsie, we got up early and went to Banbury (Lucky Elsie!) It rained and was miserable but we had fun! Mummy went to waitrose to get some bits for cakes (and dairy free biscuits!) and Beau came and collected her from the shops, then we had some lunch, Elsie had a sleep and Mummy and Tils made her biscuits and a birthday cake!

Daddy and Beau got on with building the Pergola in our garden.
We went down to Bumble bees and met Ellie and Miasie and Olivia and Penny, it was so much fun and had a little cake each!

We came home and had a play, Then it was time for Granny and Pops to come round, we had some cake and Bubbles!

When Granny and Pops went home Emma came in and we all had a Indian takeaway...delish!

A day at home! We were meant to be going to the park for a picnic today but the weather was yukky so we stayed in and Ellie and Maisie came to play, we played at home for a while then walked to the park just before lunch, It was nice having Ellie to play and she is staying the night tomorrow! What a treat!

We are back!
I have been rubbish as per usual!
However I do have some photies of the girls to look at from our hols!
We spent a wonderful week in Praia Da Luz it was so hot and the girls had a fabulous time! Jessica and Donna were amazing hosts and we loved the area, we got to see dolphins and crocodiles at Zoo marine and had lots of fun shopping in lagos. It was great having Jess with us as a babysitter she was really good at looking after the girls to give me a break! We ate really well (or badly....) and spent a lot of time in and around the pool...a perfect holiday all round!

Hello, My name is Kelly I am a Mummy, a sister, a daughter, a girlfriend, a grand daughter, a friend.... a cook, a semi cleaner upper, a pram pusher, a shopper (of great proportions!) and a terrible blog updater!!!
I am so sorry!
I hope you will forgive me, I have loads of photos to add too, but I just do not have time at the moment, as soon as the sun comes out we are outside all the time, we have been going to the park every morning and having a picnic there for lunch, then Tils goes to school in the afternoon (well 3 afternoons)! It seems to be non - stop at the moment and we have been BBQ-ing most nights!- Yummy! By the time we come indoors it is time for Big brother- essential summer viewing...although I should not really admit that!
The news in our house is as follows:
Elsie now has 4 teeth the 'normal' two bottom- middle ones and the two top fangs!!! She is our little blood sucker and has the best Tan ever! - I do use loads of high factor Cream in her but she would tan if you shone a torch on her! She can also shake her head and says ' Na, na, na' - meaning NO,NO,NO! She can call for 'Dadda' - which is great for me at 6 am!!! She is also cruising in between the furniture, EVERYTHING goes in her mouth , I don't remeber Tils wanting to eat everything as much as Elsie does.
Tils had a hair cut yesterday and is much the same, she is loving the weather and has enjoyed being out in the new park, She has missed the seaside and keeps asking to go down to Brighton so we will be making a trip soon!
She is adoring school and Mummy and Daddy had to go for a meeting with her teachers, they said she was a very good girl and is doing really well, especially with Craft and playing outside.
Mummy has brought a Bike and Daddy is buying the girls a trailer to pull along so they can be attached to his bike, We can't wait to get out with them in the sunshine for picnics!

Daddy has finally finished his plumbing course after 4 very hard years of college and 6 years of work as an apprentice! We are so proud of him, we made him cards and we had a little party with balloons, a cake and chocolate biscuits cut to say 'well done', we stuck some to the wall with blue tack so he could see them when he got home.

Then in the evening Mummy and Daddy had to get ready to go out for a meal with Granny and Pop's to celebrate! We went to The Masons Arms .

Mummy had Chicken Liver Terrine and Seafood Lasagna it was devine and Daddy had salmon and a Big Steak with Horseradish and Beetroot Puree, we washed it all down with lots of lovely white wine! We had such a lovely evening! Tils has been very good even though she has been feeling yukky and Elsie has been crawling everywhere and eating everything she can find!!!

Tils doing her best Ill face as Granny had come round to Kindly take Baby Elsie for a few hours so Mummy could take Tils to the doctors.
Tils just wanted to be cuddled and was too tired to walk to town when we had to go and get a prescription so I had to push her in the buggy - she is far too big for it! We spent most of the day on the sofa with toys and cuddles! Daddy came home and had bought Tils some Sorbet to sooth her throat! What a treat!

Today we had some very sad news that Grandad Gray had lost his long Battle with cancer, we were sad and relieved in equal measures as he had suffered so much, we had seen him last week and he was very poorly but also very happy to see how the girls had grown, we will miss him very much and hope he is at peace xxx
