Olympic Torch Relay & Rizzle kicks

Anna and Natasha collected the girls form school today and bought them down to Hove Cricket Ground where Mummy had been working all day in the pouring rain, getting the flags and dancers ready for their performance at the torch relay for when the Olympic flame arrived in Brighton.
Sam came and joined us when he finished work and they watched the concert with Rizzle kicks, Mummy was working back stage and got to meet Twist and pulse and had to have some teeshirts signed by Rizzle kicks

Today we found out......

.......That we are having a little sister!
Matilda and Elsie arrived home to find a box waiting for them that said 'We are having.....'
They opened the box and inside was a pink heart balloon that said 'A Sister!'
The girls are thrilled that we are rollin' team pink!

Petersfield celebrations!

Today we went down to Petersfield to celebrate Jenny's 21st, Beckie's 18th and Katie's graduation, after a lovely lunch we went back to Uncle Carl's house for cake and champagne!
It was a lovely day catching up with our family but there was a large void in the shape of the Parker's, as Auntie Fiona had just had a big operation.
It was also a celebration of Uncle David's birthday.

 Auntie Dawn cheesing it up!
 Cala looking gorg!
Elsie loved seeing Baby freddie!
 Lovely picture of Mia!
Matilda missed Daisy so much that she decided to sit and read alone when we returned to Carl and Gill's

Pool Party!

Today we went to Oliver and Henry's Grandma's house for a Jubilee Pool Party, the kids loved being in the pool all day and played really well, Sam threw Matilda in the pool and she swallowed some water and panicked so he did his best 'Baywatch' impression and jumped in fully clothed after her!
It was a lovely day spent with Oliver, Henry, Maddie, and Frazer.

This week. Generally.

Elsie was off on Monday and Tuesday with a nasty chesty cough and Today I did not let them have swimming lessons as it is freezing and we have snow forecast - well in the next 48 hours at least and how much snow I do not know!
I have started to feel abit coldy now. We had naughty hot dogs for tea and fruity yogurt which the girls loved...(obviously not together!)
I can not wait to have a weekend snuggled up with my girls, Matilda is meant to be going to her friends House for a birthday tea party on Sunday but aside from that we are plan free which is lovely and just what we need! x

Catch up!

Today I'm adding some photos from the last few months! I'm shockingly bad at remembering to add pictures on here (Or generally update)!
So whats been happening I hear you cry?! Well Matilda and Elsie are just fabulous! Both thriving at school and very happy.
Elsie has had a sore throat and cold for the last few days and is back at school after a couple of days rest, when I asked her yesterday how she felt she said that she was better now but that her 'face was still poorly!'. Her speech is getting better but she is still not very clear with some joining sounds, luckily this does not affect her confidence, she doesn''t stop chatting away!
Matilda is just lovely and the highlight of her week has been another wobbly tooth! I cant wait to see what she looks like when the front top two fall out!
