Matilda is 4... woop woop!

Matilda decided she absolutely completely must have to have a crab cake (Sebastian birthday cake to go with her under the sea themed Party)...Mummy was up until stupid o'clock the night before baking it and icing it to make it as believable as possible..... only for the Wiginator to jump in and eat the claws 2 hours before Matilda's party! ..... = A very sad Mummy and Tilly :(

The claws were reformed with A Tesco Swiss roll, lots of icing and more Orange food colouring.

Finally it is all over!

Daddy has finally finished his plumbing course after 4 very hard years of college and 6 years of work as an apprentice! We are so proud of him, we made him cards and we had a little party with balloons, a cake and chocolate biscuits cut to say 'well done', we stuck some to the wall with blue tack so he could see them when he got home.
Daddy's favourite lemon and Poppy seed cake
Tils wearing her Party Skirt! Wanting to fly like a fairy on Daddy's back!
Then in the evening Mummy and Daddy had to get ready to go out for a meal with Granny and Pop's to celebrate! We went to The Masons Arms .
Tils helped Mummy get ready with her face mask!
Tils liked the chocolate smell!

Mummy had Chicken Liver Terrine and Seafood Lasagna it was devine and Daddy had salmon and a Big Steak with Horseradish and Beetroot Puree, we washed it all down with lots of lovely white wine! We had such a lovely evening! Tils has been very good even though she has been feeling yukky and Elsie has been crawling everywhere and eating everything she can find!!!

Susie's Birthday!

Mummy is hi-jacking the blog and being a guest poster today!

I had not updated the blog for a few days before I went to Brighton as Our friend Susie was turning 30 and her Husband Stuart had organised a surprise party for her and he had asked me to make her cake, Iam rubbish - as most of you know at keeping secrets so I did not upload anything as we had been getting things ready and I know I would have some how let it slip!

Oh Yes Susie that is sooooooooo you!

We started Susie's birthday celebrations, With a powers hopping trip, Stuart had organised a surprise girls lunch at a tapas bar in Banbury, and Sam and Liz Susie's other friends turned up too! It was lovely to spend the day with the other Mummy's and Met Susie's other friends, we had a gorgeous lunch and wine!- Thank You Mr Harper!
Poutalicious!
The Girls at the Tapas Bar.

The Wonky Cake!

The top layer is chocolate and the middle is fruit and the bottom was lemon, it was meant to be like a wonky wedding cake, but it was quite fiddly to do, and probably needed a few more layers to look effective, but I was pleased with the outcome!
Susie and her party popper hair!
The cake after Susie put the knife to it!
Tils and Liv checking out the cake....what a surprise!!!
Daddy laughing...hahaha
Tils transfering Apple juice -it is not beer!
We returned home to get ready (and collect the kids!) for Susie's surprise Barbeque, Stuart had made it really nice, with gazebos to cover us from the intermittant rain all day! The food was fab too! Emma had made some Tea Light lanterns and the other Emma had made some scrummy pavlovas, Jenny brought some Olives and bread and Treats too so we all chipped in!
Olivia was going to stay at our house after the party ut after a little bit of head banging she decided it would probably be best to saty with Mummy and Daddy! Thank you so Much for a wonderful day!

P.A.R.T.Y!

Today has been really busy as we have had Olivia and Liberty's 3rd birthday party, It was so much fun and very tiring!!! We bounced and crafted until it was nearly bedtime then we walked home and saw Granny and Pops working at the Cottage getting it ready for the new tenants, so we popped in to chat.
Afterwards Mummy, Daddy, Tilly and Elsie went to the Kushboo Indian restaurant for supper which was a real treat, Tilly was hugely excited by the lemon squeezer with her chicken tikka!!!...and by the chocolates that Gilar was giving her!!!
Then we got home and Matilda insisted on going to see Mark to say Happy Birthday to him too! We then put Tils to bed and Elsie followed shortly after!

Mummy has finally found the camera cable to upload some pictures!Unfortunatly the camera has decided to stop focusing properly so sorry about the quality of the photos - they seem to be very blurry!
On Tuesday morning we had Frazers 2nd Birthday party at his house, Matilda then went to school in the afternoon and after school we walked down to Bumble bees for George's Birthday! so as you can imagine Tilly slept very well that Night!!! We got some pictures of Tils and her friends at Frazer's party but we were not allowed to use the camera at Bumble Bees which is a shame as they were having so much fun! Luckily Daddy was able to collect us when he finished work as it was raining and pouring!
Tilly and the sweeties she won in the pass the parcel!
Tilly and Olivia Harper and the Birthday boy Frazer
Penelope Harper and Elsie Williams having a cuddle with Susie!
Tilly and Her friend Katie

Mummy has been very busy decorating Matilda's new bedroom, it is finished but needs some shelves etc which I think father Christmas may be bringing! Yesterday We stayed in in the morning (Mummy was doing Til's room - but had to pretend I was doing boring Mummy stuff as it was a suprise!) and then after lunch we went for a walk into town to get Tilly some shampoo and some meat (for Daddy) from the butcher, When we got back Tils played some more then helped me prepare supper and Mummy did the finishing touches to Tils room, Then we had soem tea and We told Tils to go and have a look in the 'spare room', she could not believe it and kept saying 'Thank you! Thank you!' and then she decided to ask 'Did you make it ?' -even her books and toys...funny girl!!! She slept in the there last night and fell out of bed at about 10pm - I went up to see if she was ok and she was lying on the floor sucking her fingers..Still asleep!!! So we had to wedge her in with pillows - she has had the sides down on her cot for ages so didn't think she would fall out, but I suppose she is just getting used to it!Tils so excited about her big girl bed!
Silly old Daddy got into Bed With Tilly !

Tilly openign the door to her new room - the camera has a delay - I tried to get her face but she moved too quickly!!!
Tilly looking at her new mirror - the ribbons hanging off had some small hair clips on, the ribbons were from her christening gifts.
Tilly talking to the birdy in the cage!!!
Tils in her new bed!
Tils woke up this morning and was happily playing in her new space which is great as she did not have much room in the nursery, we are hoping that Elsie will move into the Nursery tonight - she has slept through the night for 3 days in a row now -WOOOOOHOOOOOO!

We went to see the hens this morning...but no eggs yet!Tilly was getting cross with Dora as she would not go into her bed and it was raining! Tils has school this afternoon and I have hair to do.
