Our Christmas!

Hello there everyone! well it has been a very busy time here! We have had a wonderful festive time! We spent our christmas In Brighton and Father Christmas found us when we were staying at the hotel!

The mince pie and carrot Tils left for Father Christmas, she asked the bar man for them and he returned with a silver lid too! Tils decided the best place to leave the treats were by the window as Father Christmas would have so many rooms to visit.

Today we put our Christmas Tree Up!

This is our beautiful tree! The lights are alot more sparkley in real life - but the flash on the camera makes them look too dull!

Elsie smiling under the christmas tree

Tils and Elsie under their Chrostmas tree!
Tilly trying to hold Elsie's hand!
Tilly 'going shopping (with her handbag) to get sausages!'

Today was the little Oaks school christmas fete, Tilly made a glittery christmas decoration and had to search for 6 Father Chrostmas faces around her school, she found them all and won a Chocolate Santa!
Tils helped to decorate the tree and was very impressed with her 'beautiful fairy' Daddy had to reach up high and put on the top!!!

Saturday 8 December 2007

The weather is horrid here so we are staying in as Mummy has some hair appointments booked in today, Tilly is playing with her Teaset and looking after Looby Lou, she is in her seat next Baby Elsie!
Yesterday we made our Christmas cards and then we had to walk to town to pay some cheques in, it took nearly 3 hours to get from our house to town (it is normally 15 minutes max) but Matilda asked to Take Looby Lou in her pram, so we stopped every 3 steps to check she was comfortable and look at leaves and suck our fingers then we went to the park.
Then last night we went out and hand delivered the christmas card to our local friends, it was freezing and Tilly wore her snow suit and Daddy pushed her in a buggy because it was so cold that she had blankets on, we walked around Brackley and peeped into people houses and looked at their christmas trees and we looked at the Christmas lights in Town!
Has anyone lese struggled to signn into our Guestbook? I signed Matilda in and it worked but Grandma has had problems doing it, so if any of you have also struggled to add your naem then let me know!
Tonight we have made Rice Crispy cakes and Daddy brought us a Christmas tree so we will be decorating it tomorrow as it is getting abit late now! Tomorrow is Tilly's school Christmas Fete, Hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Mummy has finally found the camera cable to upload some pictures!Unfortunatly the camera has decided to stop focusing properly so sorry about the quality of the photos - they seem to be very blurry!
On Tuesday morning we had Frazers 2nd Birthday party at his house, Matilda then went to school in the afternoon and after school we walked down to Bumble bees for George's Birthday! so as you can imagine Tilly slept very well that Night!!! We got some pictures of Tils and her friends at Frazer's party but we were not allowed to use the camera at Bumble Bees which is a shame as they were having so much fun! Luckily Daddy was able to collect us when he finished work as it was raining and pouring!
Tilly and the sweeties she won in the pass the parcel!
Tilly and Olivia Harper and the Birthday boy Frazer
Penelope Harper and Elsie Williams having a cuddle with Susie!
Tilly and Her friend Katie

Mummy has been very busy decorating Matilda's new bedroom, it is finished but needs some shelves etc which I think father Christmas may be bringing! Yesterday We stayed in in the morning (Mummy was doing Til's room - but had to pretend I was doing boring Mummy stuff as it was a suprise!) and then after lunch we went for a walk into town to get Tilly some shampoo and some meat (for Daddy) from the butcher, When we got back Tils played some more then helped me prepare supper and Mummy did the finishing touches to Tils room, Then we had soem tea and We told Tils to go and have a look in the 'spare room', she could not believe it and kept saying 'Thank you! Thank you!' and then she decided to ask 'Did you make it ?' -even her books and toys...funny girl!!! She slept in the there last night and fell out of bed at about 10pm - I went up to see if she was ok and she was lying on the floor sucking her fingers..Still asleep!!! So we had to wedge her in with pillows - she has had the sides down on her cot for ages so didn't think she would fall out, but I suppose she is just getting used to it!Tils so excited about her big girl bed!
Silly old Daddy got into Bed With Tilly !

Tilly openign the door to her new room - the camera has a delay - I tried to get her face but she moved too quickly!!!
Tilly looking at her new mirror - the ribbons hanging off had some small hair clips on, the ribbons were from her christening gifts.
Tilly talking to the birdy in the cage!!!
Tils in her new bed!
Tils woke up this morning and was happily playing in her new space which is great as she did not have much room in the nursery, we are hoping that Elsie will move into the Nursery tonight - she has slept through the night for 3 days in a row now -WOOOOOHOOOOOO!

We went to see the hens this morning...but no eggs yet!Tilly was getting cross with Dora as she would not go into her bed and it was raining! Tils has school this afternoon and I have hair to do.

At the weekend we went to Brighton on saturday Mummy, Grandma, Nanny Dafodil & Matilda and Elsie went to see father Christmas in Rottingdean it was very cold but we had a wonderful day! Daddy went fishing...but came back empty handed! Elsie Rolled over for the first time on saturday afternoon and once she did it there was no stopping her! She has also strated to suck her fingers just like Tilly does which is rather strange!
On saturday night we went over to see Grandad Grey in hospital, which was nice as he seemed to be getting better then, but unfortunaly he has caught a bug and has been transfered back to Worthing hospital now, hopefully he will be better soon. We then went back to Grandma and Grandad'a house and had a big beef stew with Apple pie and custard - Yummy!!!
Sunday was Sam's christening, we had a lovely day and the weather was good which always makes the day that much more special. Tilly has been at school on monday and tuesday and this morning we had to take Baby Elsie to have her Jabs...she is 16 weeks today! Daddy, Mummy and Baby Elsie cutting the cake!

Thank you to everyone that travelled all the way to see us yesterday to celebrate the girls christening we had a wonderful day and we hope you all enjoyed yourselves as much as we did!!!
The service was wonderful - Although I think Mummy and Daddy's singing left alot to be desired!!! The girls were very well behaved and Tilly's only requirements were that the water did not go in her eyes!!!

The children we invited were all beautifully behaved and the little girls all looked like princesses! and every man I passed wanted to take Sam home...he is obviously a boys boy!!!...especially when he was drinking from the dogs bowl!

Matilda really did enjoy her special day and is very excited to be going to Brighton next weekend to celebrate Sam's christening...she is such a Hardcore P.A.R.T.Y girl ...Ummm, I think we choose the right Godmother for her in Michaela!!!
I think Elsie managed to sleep through most of the day!! A lthough I was soooo busy hobnobing I didn't pay much attention to the poor little one!

Gorgeous Jenny and Baby Elsie

I have just taken Matilda off to school now so I would imagine she will be shattered by home time and want an early night!!!

Great Nanny Maureen and Baby Elsie !!! Fiona, with baby Elsie and Daisy(L to R) Dawn, Fiona, Jo, Jay & Grandma
We have decided to go back To Granny and Pops house to open the presents on wednesday night as the girls have been spoilt rotten and have so many I need to write a list as we open them and I thought if we transported them to the car we may lose Cards and not know who they are from so we are not being ungrateful we just want to spend some time looking at them and then I can send some Thank You cards out!

Thanks again to Granny, Pops, Grandma & Grandad and the wonderful and talented God Parents...Michaela, Julia, Emma (and special Auntie Katie) Tom, Beau, Christian and Charles (who due to Army commitments in Napal could not make it -Lucy was a wonderful stand in and we can't wairt to see you soon!!!)

It was great to see everyone we hope everyone had lots to eat and drink and that they arrived safely home - as we know some people got stuck on motorways with the snow.
