Seaside Friends!

Tils and Oliver waiting for their food

Elsie and Henry chillaxin!

Today we met Oliver and Henry for lunch it was great to see them, Matilda had not seen Oliver since her 1st Birthday and they had both grown so much! We had not seen Henry at all, Their is two weeks in age between him and Elsie and he is gorgeous!
We went to Picasso's in the lanes and had Pizza and ice cream, what a treat!
We then went to town as Mummy's wanted to do some Shopping and after we had turned GAP upside down we went to the park opposite uncle Charlie's flat, we played for ages in the sand and Henry and Elsie had a good crawl and climb around in the sand - I think Elsie ate more sand than she played in! We finished the day with another Ice cream - It was a hot day! Mummy and Anna thought it would be a good idea to try and pump up our buggy tyres whilst the children played, only we both ended up with one flat tyre as we could not work out how to do it properly...duh! It was a pain to push the bugs up the slope with a flat!!!

Our week in Brighton

We spent alot of time at the park opposite Uncle Charlie's house as the weather was fantastic while we were away, Tils and Elsie loved the sand and Tils went into the paddling pools most days, it was so handy to walk across the road and go paddling!
Tils was very good walking everywhere as we did not have a buggy board and had a lot of running around to do, we went over to see Grandad Gray in Lancing 3 times during the week and went on the bus, It was long bus journey but Tils loved it when Uncle Charlie came along and pointed all the exciting things out of the window, We also got the bus back with Nanny Joycee, and she came to Uncle Charlie's flat and we got a chinese Takeaway, It was nice to see her, We also saw Grandma and met her for Coffee in town, We saw Nanny Maureen twice and met her for Coffee in Marks and Spencer and then we went to The Harvester opposite the pier on Friday night and had some supper with her and Charlie and Auntie Kimberly and we went to Nanny Dafodil's House too, We met Carla and Aimee on monday and went shopping and had some lunch, It was great to catch up with everyone, But it was sad to see Grandad Gray so ill.

Susie's Birthday!

Mummy is hi-jacking the blog and being a guest poster today!

I had not updated the blog for a few days before I went to Brighton as Our friend Susie was turning 30 and her Husband Stuart had organised a surprise party for her and he had asked me to make her cake, Iam rubbish - as most of you know at keeping secrets so I did not upload anything as we had been getting things ready and I know I would have some how let it slip!

Oh Yes Susie that is sooooooooo you!

We started Susie's birthday celebrations, With a powers hopping trip, Stuart had organised a surprise girls lunch at a tapas bar in Banbury, and Sam and Liz Susie's other friends turned up too! It was lovely to spend the day with the other Mummy's and Met Susie's other friends, we had a gorgeous lunch and wine!- Thank You Mr Harper!

The Girls at the Tapas Bar.

The Wonky Cake!

The top layer is chocolate and the middle is fruit and the bottom was lemon, it was meant to be like a wonky wedding cake, but it was quite fiddly to do, and probably needed a few more layers to look effective, but I was pleased with the outcome!
Susie and her party popper hair!
The cake after Susie put the knife to it!
Tils and Liv checking out the cake....what a surprise!!!
Daddy laughing...hahaha
Tils transfering Apple juice -it is not beer!
We returned home to get ready (and collect the kids!) for Susie's surprise Barbeque, Stuart had made it really nice, with gazebos to cover us from the intermittant rain all day! The food was fab too! Emma had made some Tea Light lanterns and the other Emma had made some scrummy pavlovas, Jenny brought some Olives and bread and Treats too so we all chipped in!
Olivia was going to stay at our house after the party ut after a little bit of head banging she decided it would probably be best to saty with Mummy and Daddy! Thank you so Much for a wonderful day!

Tils took to using her new shoes to stop the scooter which made mummy very happy! NOT!!!

The girls were really good and then we went home and tried to prepare our food as we were having a bbq, Tils decided she needed a sleep if she was having a late night so she went up stairs to 'read' a book queitly!!!

Mummy had really really missed her girls as they had stayed the night at Granny's for her Birthday so she was thrilled when Granny dropped them off, as an extra surprise Katie, Jenny, Susie and Pen were here when they returned so Tils was extra happy to see them! Mummy and Daddy had a great time at he restaurant and Mummy had Monk Fish with coconut rice and Daddy had mackerel with chunky chips the food and atmosphere was lovely, Although we did spend most of the night talking about the girls!

Today was really hot so we got the paddling pool out and Tina came round with Keira and Harley and we played in the sunshine, It was so much fun and we had an ice lolly and played on all the things in the garden, Mummy and Daddy had ordered me a plasma car before my birthday and it did not turn up so they got a refund and when we returned yesterday it was waiting on the door step (it had come from America) so I now have a scooter and a plasma car! We took turns playing on it!
Then it was Matilda's school time and Mummy and Elsie went to Waitrose at Towcester with Emma, we shopped and Elsie cried she was not happy about the Air con - every time we went past a fridge or freezer she screamed!!!
Then when we had unloaded our shopping we collected Tils from school then Frazer and Finley came round to play and have their hair cut,

It was fun seeing them and they each took an egg home! Daddy returned home and threw Tils around the Garden!
Finley having a cuddle with Elsie! then we had a BBQ, It was so nice to sit out in the sun and Elsie ate all her supper - curried Carrot and lentils (she always seems to want finger foods at the moment so that was good)
